The HT6800-OP1 is a single-channel OLP (Optical Line Protection) card for the HT6800 DCI DWDM Optical Transmission System. Using dynamic synchronous optical switching technology, it provides 1+1 protection with sub-20ms switchover when fiber breaks or signal degradation occurs. Features SIG, A, and B ports. Occupies 1 slot in the HT6800 chassis.
Automatic primary-to-backup route switching completes in <15 ms, reducing fiber failure recovery time from hours to milliseconds.
Full 1+1 optical line protection with dedicated backup path, ensuring uninterrupted communication when fiber breaks or equipment failures occur.
Supports both automatic mode (threshold-based) and manual mode (command-based), with configurable recovery and non-recovery options.
Supports user-defined switching threshold settings with optical power accuracy of ±0.25 dB and detection resolution of ±0.01 dB.
Supports automatic return to primary path once the main fiber is restored, minimizing manual intervention in mission-critical networks.
Low insertion loss (Tx ≤4 dB, Rx ≤1.2 dB), high return loss ≥55 dB, and low polarization dependent loss ≤0.05 dB for transparent operation.
