1. The Type-A solution includes a pair of simplex CWDM MUX DEMUX modules and a pair of 1CH simplex CWDM OADM modules over a single fiber. In this situation, the Tx and Rx of the dual fiber CWDM transceivers use different wavelengths.
2. The Type-B solution includes a pair of simplex CWDM MUX DEMUX modules and a pair of 2CH simplex CWDM OADM modules over a single fiber, with optical circulators inside to realize bidirectional transmission. In this situation, the Tx and Rx of each dual fiber CWDM transceiver uses the same wavelength.
3. The Type-C solution includes a pair of simplex CWDM MUX DEMUX modules and a pair of 2CH simplex dual band CWDM OADM modules over a single fiber, with BiDi CWDM transceivers. In this situation, the Tx and Rx of single fiber BiDi CWDM transceivers use different CWDM wavelengths with at least 60nm spacing.
