The 25th CIOE Kicks Off, HTF Leads Innovation in the Optical Communication Sector

On September 11, 2024, the 25th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) officially opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. This year’s event attracted over 3,700 leading enterprises from the global optoelectronics sector. The exhibition spanned all 12 halls of the center, covering over 240,000 square meters. It showcased innovations in fields such as information and communication, precision optics, camera technology, laser and intelligent manufacturing, infrared & ultraviolet, smart sensing, and new displays. The event not only highlighted the latest achievements in the optoelectronics industry but also introduced new technologies and models, sparking discussions on the future of the sector.

25 Years of Growth, Driving the Optoelectronics Industry Forward

Since its inception in 1999, CIOE has been a cornerstone of the optoelectronics industry. Over the past 25 years, the exhibition has not only witnessed the rapid development of the global optoelectronics industry but has also played a key role in driving China’s optoelectronics technology from a follower to a leader in several fields.

As a top-tier platform in the global optoelectronics sector, CIOE consistently showcases new highlights and cutting-edge technologies, whether in the evolution of traditional technologies or breakthrough advancements in emerging fields. From material innovation and device improvement to the widening scope of application scenarios, CIOE is committed to advancing optoelectronics technology and promoting the integration of optoelectronics with emerging technologies.

In the backdrop of China’s fast-paced development in optoelectronics, CIOE has borne witness to the country’s increasing global competitiveness in areas such as optical communication, laser manufacturing, and smart sensing. Chinese companies have rapidly emerged, driven by technological innovation and market demand, taking on a more prominent role in the global optoelectronics industry.

HTF: A Leader in Global Optical Communication

HTF, a global leader in fiber optic products and Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) system solutions, has been a standout player in the optical communication industry for years. Although HTF was not present at this year’s CIOE, its influence in the optical communication sector remains significant.

HTF’s success stems from its robust innovation and vast experience. Supported by a team with over 20 years of experience in optical communication product development, fiber optic solutions design, and component manufacturing, HTF has consistently maintained its leading position in the industry. With more than 20 years of experience in WDM system solutions, HTF’s dedication to innovation has earned it widespread global recognition and trust.

HTF’s international team operates in over 140 countries, speaking 13 different languages, ensuring round-the-clock support for its global clients. To date, HTF has completed over 60,000 successful cases, contributing to both core communication equipment and fiber optic infrastructure across the world. With a commitment to technical excellence, HTF continues to provide efficient and reliable solutions to meet the demands of the industry.

Innovation Driving Industry Transformation

HTF has spearheaded significant advancements in the optical communication field through a series of technological breakthroughs. In 2019, HTF successfully developed a 5G fronthaul semi-active product, which was applied to the 5G fronthaul construction project for Zhejiang Mobile. Similarly, in 2020, HTF launched a single-wavelength 200G and 400G coherent optical long-distance transmission system, which was implemented in the 360-kilometer transmission project between Zhengzhou and Luoyang. In 2021, HTF expanded its product line by focusing on the development of DCI (Data Center Interconnect) products, marking its formal entry into the DCI market.

HTF has also made significant strides in industry collaboration. In 2022, the company established a 1,500-square-meter R&D center in Wuhan, collaborating with universities to continue developing cutting-edge technologies and products that lead the industry and are competitive in the market. This strategic move not only strengthened HTF’s position in the domestic market but also laid a solid foundation for its future global expansion.

Leading the Future, Driving the Growth of the Optoelectronics Industry

As a global leader in the optical communication field, HTF has spent over 20 years driving innovation and industry transformation. HTF has garnered over 200 corporate awards, holds more than 120 intellectual property rights, and has obtained 160 invention patents. Its influence spans multiple countries and regions. HTF’s remarkable achievements in optical communication have made an invaluable contribution to the technological advancements in the global optoelectronics industry.

Despite its absence from this year’s CIOE, HTF remains a key player behind the scenes, with its technological legacy continuing to make waves. As a leading driver of global optoelectronics technology, HTF will continue to innovate and expand, shaping the future of the optical communication sector for years to come.
