HTF 100G DWDM Network Solution
HTF H6000 WDM optical transmission platform was deployed in the data center of two sites.
For future expansion, 40-channel mux demux was selected
Use 100G coherent module, no need DCM
The transmission line loss need to be balanced, so the PA 16/G30 and BA20/G12 were used to ensure a stable transmission performance.
1) Single Channel Fiber power calculation:
A→B Line loss :120km/36dBm
0dbm (From CFP-DCO module ) – 5dBm (Mux/Demux) +9dBm (BA20/G12)-36dBm (120km cable loss) + 30dBm (PA16/G30) – 5dBm (Mux/Demux) =-7dBm (at receiver site)
Rx Sensitivity -19dBm < -7dBm < Rx over load +3dBm, In acceptable receive sensitivity range
2) Dispersion calculation:
100G CFP-DCO reach beyond 1200km over SMF without inline DCM
3) OSNR calculation:
58+4-36-6=20dB >15 dB (100G CFP-DCO OSNR tolerance 15dB) Meet design needs.
